HB-20 Quick Blockout
Instructions for Use
- Use the HB APLIC emulsion applicator, or with the matrix in a horizontal position, spread the HB 20 Blocker with a plastic spatula.
- Dry the matrix with hot or cold air.
- After drying, a second application may be applied if necessary.
- For touch-ups, use a brush or plastic spatula.
- For matrices made with indirect film, apply the Blocker before removing the film backing.
- To remove the Blocker after printing, remove ink residues with the appropriate solvent. Then, apply a water jet until the Blocker is completely eliminated.
Applications
- Block open areas of the matrix.
- Temporarily block areas for subsequent printing with another color.
- Retouch holes in the emulsion layer or photographic film.
